Music

Welcome to Music! This year is going to be an exciting year as your child learns to sing, dance, and play rhythm instruments.  Your child will also learn basic music theory.

We have 3 performances to look forward to this spring!

There will be a performance during Reading Night on Thursday, March 1 between 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm.

Our Pre-K students read The Saggy, Baggy Elephant and will be singing “Elephants Have Wrinkles.”

Kindergarten students read a “rookie biography” about Ludwig Van Beethoven.  A few kindergarten students will stand up front and report on Beethoven and a small ensemble will accompany on hand chimes. They will all sing the melody to “Ode to Joy” on rhythm syllables.
