Taylor ISD offers a full-day prekindergarten program for children who are four years old on or before September 1st. Taylor ISD also offers tuition-based enrollment if you do not meet at least one of the following qualifying criteria:

Qualifications for Free Pre-K:

• Must reside in the Taylor ISD school district and one of the following:
  • Limited ability to speak or comprehend the English language (student must be at registration to be tested); or
  • Economically disadvantaged (must provide qualifying food stamp letter); or
  • Household income qualifies for free or reduced lunch (must provide the most current pay stub of every working member of the household); or
  • Child of an active duty member of the Armed Forces (must show ID); or
  • The child is or has been in foster care or CPS custody (paperwork must be provided)
• Head Start qualification requires your most recent Income Tax Return

Qualifications for Tuition-based Pre-K:

• $400 deposit paid at registration; and     
•  $400 monthly payment
